Finally, we are getting started to grow this portal. We know it’s overdue that we haven’t updated content here. Going forward, we shall aim to release contents on bi-weekly.
In the coming week, we shall post introduction to our auther Srinivasu Chakravarthula and a few posts about qualities that an accessibility professionals should have.
This portal will not only be a platform to teach technical things of accessibility but curate content to raise awareness about accessibility. Because one of the things we believe is when we see any product, website, service or infrastructure is not accessible, it’s not that someone intend to build inaccessible stuff but it’s all due to lack of awareness. Though we are in 2025 and in the era of AI, it’s true that still there isn’t much awareness about accessibility. Let’s ask ourselves, how often do we include descriptions to images when sharing through social media and more so on WhatsApp. Well, that’s reality.
